NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
Notice is hereby given that the Lincoln Planning Board will hold a Public Hearing
at the Lincoln Town Hall, 100 Old River Road, Lincoln, RI 02865 on Wednesday,
June 24, 2026, at 7:00 pm for the purpose of considering adoption, amendments
or repeal to the Town of Lincoln Land Development and Subdivision Regulations
pursuant to Article 15 of the Home Rule Charter of the Town of Lincoln. A hardcopy
copy of the proposed subdivision regulations amendment is available in the office
of the Town Planner, 100 Old River Road, Lincoln, RI, Monday through Wednesday
from 8:30am to 4:30pm, Thursday from 8:30am to 7pm, and Friday from 8:30am to
12:30pm. An electronic version of the amendment is posted on the Towns Planning
Department website https://www.lincolnri.gov/181/Planning.
The following sections of the subdivision regulations are under consideration in
accordance with state law:
Section 23: Design Standards. Insert New Article I:
Fee in Lieu of Sidewalk Installation
The proposed amendment may be altered or further amended prior to the
close of the public hearing without further advertising, as a result of further
study or because of the views expressed at the public hearing. Any alterations
or amendments will be presented for comment in the course of the hearing.
Individuals requesting interpreter services for the hearing impaired must notify the
Town Clerk at (401) 333-8451 one week prior to the hearing date.
