LIQUOR LICENSE TRANSFER
The Cumberland Board of License Commissioners hereby gives notice that the
following application has been made to said Board for Retailers Beverage license
to keep for sale and to sell alcoholic beverages in the Town of Cumberland, under
the provisions of Title 3 of the General Laws of Rhode Island 1965, as amended, for
a transfer of Class BV Liquor License from Jose Almeida dba Valley Park
Pub to Mar & Morna LLC, 17 Mill Street, Cumberland, Rhode Island.
Remonstrants are entitled to be heard before the granting of such license, and the
Cumberland, Board of License Commissioners, will give such remonstrants a fair
opportunity to make their objections before acting upon said application.
Notice is further given that said application will be considered at an in-person/
hybrid public hearing of said Town Council on Wednesday, September 2, 2026
at 7:30 p.m. at the Cumberland Public Safety Building Community Room,
1379 Diamond Hill Road, Cumberland, RI 02864. Those unable to attend
in-person may remotely access the meeting on the Zoom platform using the
