Cumberland, Town ofPlanning & Development TOWN OF CUMBERLAND - PLANNING BOARD NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
In accordance with the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development and the Rhode Island Department of Housing, notice is hereby given that the Cumberland Planning Board will hold an In-Person and Virtual Public Hearing on Thursday, April 24, 2025 at 6:30 p.m. in the Town Council Chambers, 2nd Floor, Cumberland Town Hall, 45 Broad Street, Cumberland, RI 02864.
The Town of Cumberland is considering filing an application for a Rhode Island Community Development Block Grant. Funding is available to undertake a range of activities including:
a) Improved housing opportunities for low and moderate income families and individuals.
b) Provision of employment opportunities for low and moderate income persons.
c) Provision of community infrastructure, facilities and services principally benefiting low and moderate income families and individuals.
